Summary
As seen on Instagram as @McDermottKevinP, restrung an old Proton Power using the Traditree for the first time. Came out with a very nice pocket. I typically string and play with X heads, so going back to a HS spec for this may be a little odd. Stringing Supplies straight off the rack at LU Alexandria... Brown "Natural" Leathers and grey/silver crosslace & sidewalls. I'm a big fan of the X down the middle, over a Pita, as I feel like it gives and moves more with the ball after breakin. I'm also a fan of more diamonds, rather than fewer. I feel like the pocket holds its shape better as it ages, and that the leathers resist bunching. Break-in wil be the only way I really know how... playing with it, either on the wall, on the couch, or on the field. We'll see what happens.Thanks for looking.
