Summary

Re-designed and engineered of the LAUNCH head to be stiffer and more consistent. The Stealth Core is perfect for defenders looking to throw checks, cause turnovers, and pick up GB's.

The Stealth line of heads is the most advanced heads in lacrosse. The Stealth Core lacrosse head is designed legal for play at all levels of NOCSAE lacrosse standards. The challenge was to designed an affordable “work horse head” a lacrosse head suitable for all player types and positions. Its reinforce sidewall construction maximize stiffness. The patented Reflex technology allows players to customize their offset for the optimal throwing and shooting angle for all pocket types.

Providing sufficient stiffness and ability to perform ball tricks were the requirements for designing the Launch 2.0 head. A full range of design concepts was generated to explore variations of the design outlook. The aesthetics of the lacrosse head is an important component for establishing the identity of the Easton Lacrosse among its competitors. The Easton branding element is integrated to the partitions on the side walls as part of the structural construction. The sidewall is a crucial part of the designing the head. A recessed channel on each side of the head has to be sculpted deep enough for performing ball tricks. Both channels needed to have enough space for the lacrosse ball to land and dock when the players are competing in the fields. On the other hand, the head itself needed to have sufficient stiffness after much material is removed from both side walls for creating the side channels. Rather having multiple partitions on the side wall, a single stiff band is recessed and placed on each side to maintain sufficient stiffness and to provide enough space for sculpting the channels.
